Welcome to the Upperthong Junior and Infant School Office
Our friendly, welcoming office is staffed by Mrs Sue Thompson, our Bursar, Mrs Jayne Hoyle and Mrs Sarah Bray, our Admin Officers. One or other are always around to help you with any enquiries in person or at the other end of the phone.
School opening times are as follows:
Doors open at 8.50am and school starts at 9am
The children have a 15 minutes morning break (10.25-10.40) and 1 hour at lunchtime (12-1 (R and KS1) 12.15-1.15 (KS2)
Children in KS1 have a 15 minute break each afternoon (2.10-2.25) with the children in KS2 having a 5 minute brain break as they move to a new subject.
Compulsory school day = for 6 hours and 30 minutes each day; a total of 32 hours and 30 minutes each week.

If you child is ill and cannot attend school, please ring the school office and report the absence on our attendance line or speak to a member of the office team. If you are unsure how long your child should remain off school please read the Health Protection Agency (HPECS) Guidance Exclusions in the document list below.
