The daily routines document offers some ideas about activities, daily routines, playing and special times you can use to help structure your day and add to your home schooling routine.

You may wish to try and include the following sessions into your day to help with your child's learning:

Discussion about the day, date, weather- 5 minutes
Phonics/ High frequency words/ Tricky words- 15 minutes
Writing/ Daily diary/ Sentence- 15 minutes
Reading/ questions about the text - 15 minutes
Free Play - Crafts/ art/ hobbies/ excercise/ construction/ puzzles, jigsaws, baking.

Maths/ counting practice/ number formation/ number bonds to 5/10 - 15 minutes
Topic - Pirates/ Spring/ Nature
