Year 2 - Home Learning
Week 1
Hello Year 2, I miss you and hope you and your family are well!
Parents, I know this is a very uncertain and worrying time for all, including your children, so my priority is ensuring that your children feel supported and comforted. I will be available via email to support you and your child if you need anything.
Children, I have attached below some home learning tasks for you to complete whilst we cannot be together. Each week, before 9am Monday morning, I will provide you with a collection of work for the week. There are some Maths, English and Topic tasks.
If you were in school on the last Friday, you will have brought home an exercise book. Please use this book to complete tasks. If you don't have a book, you can use paper or scrapbooks you have at home. I can't wait to see all of your home learning already! Remember to follow the Home Learning Presentation & Pride Guidelines.
Have a look at this week's work:
- Try and think back to the learning we have already done in school to help you.
- Record anything that you do either in the book or if it is practical take pictures!
- Remember you can do anything if you have an 'I can attitude' push yourself and wow your parents like you wow me!

Week 2
Hello,
Firstly, I hope you are all healthy, happy and keeping well. Secondly, I'd like to thank everyone who sent work across for me to see, it made me smile and kept me going! It's clear you have been doing some fantastic work that I'm sure has not only made me proud but your adults at home too!

I hope you all had a lovely Easter break, different to normal I imagine but I hope you all made the most of the weather like me! Below I have attached this week’s home learning documents. Good morning Year 2,
It seems a very long time ago we were in our classroom together. I am missing you all so much but seeing all of the wonderful work you are producing is keeping me going! I have uploaded this weeks home learning...REMEMBER to check the 'Y2 Home Learning Week 4' document first to see how to use all of the other attachements.

Week 6
Good morning Year 2,
Another week down and closer to being reunited! I really am so proud of each and everyone of you,. I hope you all had a lovely VE day and enjoyed the beautiful weather (safely of course).

Again I will update the hydrophonic experiment after I have been in school today (Monday) - I wonder if they have started to flower yet. I have a supirse.... I have been growing the potatoes we chitted together but didn't get chance to plant due to lockdown. I hope you are as pleased as me with how they are growing!!

Week 7
It's Monday again Year 2 and the last week before half term! A very different half term to normal but you have done me so proud with your ability to adapt, keep smiling and have a positive attitude!
It's due to be another sunny week so make sure you enjoy it alongside producing your fantastic work.
