Autumn in Year IV
Our days seem to fly by at 100 miles an hour as we race through everything we have to learn!
So far we have worked hard in Maths - place value, addition, subtraction, shape, symmetry, angles, and perimeter - and we have plenty more to come.
Our writing has been focused on description - working hard to create imaginary scenes inside Aladdin's Cave of Wonders. We are heading off on an exciting Journey next.....
Baffling Bones and Spectacular Skeletons has been our science topic - we learned loads bringing all of this exciting information - along with splendid bones charcoal sketching - to a great assembly, showing the whole school our fab learning.
We started November with a day of Remembrance - commemorating the 100 year anniversay of the end of The Great War.
After the Christmas Fayre, we blasted creatively into December with a Design Technology day - across the whole school. In Year 4, we made pop-up cards (with a festive theme) and then took part in a bridge building competition with Year 3. What a great day!
