Upperthong Breakfast and After-School Club-BASC
Our BASC operates from the bungalow in the carpark every day from 7.30-8.50am and 3.30-6pm.
At breakfast club the chidren have cereals, toast and fruit juice and at after school club a snack tea: wraps, sandwiches, breadsticks, vegetables and fruit along with juice/ water.
The club has a wide range of toys, books and activities and the staff plan craft and art activities designed to engage and stimulate the children. The grounds around the bungalow are used to play and for den building whilst the school playground is used for activities such as sports and child designed activities.
We have just purchased a small cabin which will be used by the Y5/6 children as a 'chilli zone' where they can read, listen to music and play games of their choice.
